Think a letter writing campaign to Alden would convince them into making a couple of pair of these. Maybe all your followers could place an order. I would even fly up and beg if that would help.

I am in. Let’s do it.

There are few things I wouldn’t do to obtain a pair of those ravello LWBs with the antique edging.

Where can one buy the LHS in Whiskey Shell Cordovan?

I would probably contact Alden DC or TheShoeMart these days… Alden SF used to make them but is no longer offering them.

Great content Mike, I have been out of the Alden game for over a year but decided to pay good old AoSD a visit. Hope you are doing well my friend!

The Ravello LWBs are gorgeous! I’m having trouble finding a cordovan belt to match my Ravello plain toe bluchers. Any suggestions?

    • Mike says:

Scott, that is an interesting question! I have been in “the game” for a while, so I actually have one of the extremely rare Alden Ravello Belts. However, in order to preserve the belt, I got a belt in a Ravello Color (Cognac) from Guarded Goods. Carmina also has a decent offering of Cordovan Belts with their Bourbon being the closest to Alden’s Ravello shade.

      Hope that this helps!
