Alden Cigar Shell Cordovan Leisure Handsewn

Alden makes an absolutely outstanding Penny Loafer with their LHSes. It is stocked regularly in Color #8 and Black Shell Cordovan and a variety of other leathers. Occasionally, a vendor offers this classic American staple in Cigar Shell Cordovan.

For some reason, it has become a personal tradition to wear the Cigar LHSes every New Year’s Eve, and it doesn’t take long to realize that this tradition started because these Cigars are smoking.

This particular pair was made by TheShoeMart and is the standard Cigar LHS. It features the traditional Cigar approach, as it is paired with Tan “Antique” edges. Otherwise, it is made identically to the classic 986, Lined Shell Cordovan LHS.
