Alden Cigar Chukka Boots
To me, the Chukka Boot is probably the best pattern for showing off the beauty of Shell Cordovan. It just has a lot of flat surface area to exposit the Shell. My second ever Alden purchase was the Color #8 Chukka Boot and it has always held a special place in my heart. The Chukka Boot lives in an interesting place, halfway between a Shoe and a Boot.
These Chukka Boots are based upon the Alden classic Color #8 Chukka. It features the same exact design elements, being made around the Barrie Last with a split-reverse welt on its double leather sole. The Cigar Chukka leverages the standard killer Cigar combination of a Cigar Shell Cordovan upper combined with Alden’s magnificent Tan “Antique” Edges, combining for one phenomenal Chukka.
