Alden Cigar Cap Toe Bluchers
One day I went to visit Kathy at Alden of Washington D.C. While I was there, she mentioned that just happened to have an older pair in a narrow width. A minute later, she pulled these bad boys out. Needless to say, I was sold instantly. These were probably amongst my first pair of Alden’s new in one of the “exotic” colors.
This shoe features the absolutely classic Aberdeen Last shape with the simple Cap Toe design. This is (obviously) a blucher, as opposed to the more formal balmoral shape. They feature the single leather sole and a flat, 270 degree welt. This creates a simple, but beautiful shoe. Frankly, the star of this shoe is undoubtedly the shade of the Cigar. This pair looks like delicious milk chocolate.
