Alden Brassvello Perf Tip Boots
The Jumper Boot is one of those classic Alden special makeups that stores go to. The Jumper Boot is a Perforated Tip Cap Toe Boot typically made on one of the “robust” Alden Lasts such as the Barrie or Trubalance Last. I candidly do not know the true origin of the term, but I have seen some old references to it from LeatherSoul, such as these amazing Cigar Jumpers. Whatever it is called, it is a go-to model for a darn good reason, it looks sharp.
These Brassvello jumpers are absolutely no exception! I call them Brassvello as a combination of their amazing Ravello Shell Cordovan and their Brass Hardware. The Brassvello combination, is a truly remarkable combination to behold. My first, and long standing only pair in Brassvellos were the Brassvello LWBs that were made by JCrew nearly a decade ago. But in 2020, there was a mini explosion of Brassvello makeups starting with the special Brick+Mortar Anniversary Wingtip Boots.
Well Brick+Mortar has continued their amazing Brassvello success with these Jumper Boots. These beautiful boots are made out of a truly lovely and rich shade of Ravello Shell Cordovan. Alden’s exclusive amazing color that features a medium brown shade with a red undertone. These Perforated Tip Cap Toe Boots were wrapped around the Barrie Last, for a comfortable and forgiving fit. The Boots are adorned with brass hardware including speed hooks for convenience. The boots are completed with the homemade Double Waterlock outsoles that are edged with Alden’s amazing Tan Antique Edge Stain. They outsole is attached to the upper with a matching pre-stitched reverse welt that goes all of the way around the boots. The entire design from shade to details come together to create one truly beautiful boot that will be admired for years to come!
