Alden Amaretto Shell Cordovan Jumper Boots
Well, it is not every day that you get to see a new shade of Shell Cordovan coming out of Horween and Alden. This is one of the first new shades that I have seen from Alden in a while, that is in fact, this is a relatively new color to Horween as well. Amaretto Shell Cordovan is a nice mid point between Alden’s normal Whiskey Shell Cordovan and Ravello Shell Cordovan. It’s a medium-to-light brown with a red undertone. It is probably closer to where Ravello Shell Cordovan started it’s life, as the shade known as Ravello has darkened quite a bit over the years.
Enough about the Amaretto itself, this makeup is a fantastic Jumper Boot pattern, having the Perforated Cap Toe design and the broguing on the Quarters of the Boot. The combination is just superb. This model is full of character is it features all brass eyelets. This gives it an extra shot of style. As one would hope, the boot features Alden’s lovely tan “antique” edges and has Alden’s famous Commando outsole. This creates a truly unique combination never seen in the Alden community before.
More pictures of this fantastic boot after the break.

Where can I purchase these boots? Amaretto’s.
These Amaretto Boots were made exclusively for CitiShoes. To my knowledge, only three runs of Amaretto Shell Cordovan has ever been made by Alden. These Jumpers by Citi, a Wingtip Balmoral by LeatherSoul, and a Tanker by Tassels Hong Kong. I do not know if Alden has any more Amaretto material or not or if they plan to order more, although I hope that they do.
